Universal Family Connection, Inc. (UFC) is a grassroots social-service organization serving the south and west regions of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. UFC was founded by Dr. Lorraine Broyls in 1976 and has been officially incorporated by the State of Illinois as a not-for-profit since 1980.

Our programs are designed to assess the needs of youth in crisis and coordinate the services required to resolve the issues that threaten the unity of the youth's home. We help to instill hope in our youth and their families, so as to support them in becoming stable, self-reliant, fully participating members of the Chicago communities and suburban areas.

Universal Family Connection has a broad spectrum of programs designed to: 

• Address the needs of the clients
• Provide intervention services and
• Coordinate community services necessary to resolve issues threatening children's lives and the family unit as a whole
